Commercial Experience
- Represented automobile dealership after manufacturer terminated it. Wagner Motor Car Co. was one of the oldest Buick dealerships in the nation and had just built a state-of-the-art dealership when GM terminated the dealership as part of its efforts to trim some 1,000 dealerships nationwide. A federal law permitted the terminated dealerships to arbitrate their claims for reinstatement, but limited the time frame for holding the arbitration to a matter of months and prohibited discovery. We represented Wagner Motor Car Co. in the arbitration proceeding. GM agreed to reinstate the dealership after Sabo filed his opening brief for reinstatement.
